Eileen Johanna

Eileen Johanna performs songs from the Great American Songbook. Well loved Jazz classics by Gershwin, Porter, Ellington and Berlin, including many of the songs popularized by Ella Fitzgerald, Sarah Vaughan and Billie Holiday.

Eileen’s vocals range from strong and passionate to delicate and intimate, while the backing of Adam Chilvers on guitar, Pete Brandt on double bass and Anthony Flynn drums has a subtle understated elegance reminiscent of classic 1950′s Jazz bands.

Eileen, Adam and Pete met while studying for music degree at Bath Spa University. They formed the Jazz band in 2004 and since then have played at many weddings, parties, clubs and corporate events throughout the South of England.
